Photos now downloadable in high-res format!

Chers parents,

I realized today, whilst uploading my photos from Grade 5 Camp, that I forgot to save the Québec trip photos under the Creative Commons License. This means you were not able to download the original-sized files. I have since changed this!

For those who are curious, my macbook experienced a total hard disk drive failure -- so complete they weren't even able to access it to attempt data recovery. So, I am doubly glad I uploaded nightly for you; this means only my personal photos (architecture and various pretty things not related to your children) were lost.

I may or may not try and get it looked at by a dedicated data-recovery specialist; this will depend on the cost involved.

While I have your attention, I'd like to remind you also that the flickr account where the photos reside will revert to a basic free limited account on July 15, 2009. Please be sure to download and save all the photos you would like to keep before that date. After the deadline, only the most recently uploaded 200 photos will be visible to everyone (including myself) and the high-resolution original files will no longer be accessible for download.
