Our explorations today took us downtown to three sites of interest: le Stade Olympique (we went up the cable car to see the view from above), le Biodome (varied habitats filled with plant and animal specimens), and l'Insectarium (filled with all kinds of creepy crawlies). L'Insectarium is located within le Jardin Botanique, in which we took a train ride to see some of the vast park despite the rainy weather.
The day was busy but very enjoyable; nobody had time to worry about the rain and drizzle, with all the fun to be had!
There are a lot of photos of animals and things this time, because in both the Biodome and the Insectarium, the students were asked to refrain from using their flash in order to not disturb the critters. Several kids asked me to take pictures for them, so that they would have something to show you other than their mostly blurry attempts.
